This website highlights the passion, artwork and basketry of Carol Sanders. Although Carol's life was shortened, it was full with richness and passion that is only achieved with the heart, not with time. All of the baskets on this website are Carol's original designs inspired by the beauty of the tall grass prairie. She specialized in baskets designed around deer antlers. Her love for her farm, the outdoors, and her family were weaved into her baskets. Carol captured her talents by teaching classes, designing patterns and providing kits for fellow weavers as she loved weavers as much as she loved weaving. Anyone that knew Carol still misses her tremendously. Her love and spirit remain forever weaved in our lives and hearts.
